Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find out how new-towns formed in the metropolitan area of Korea have a connection with the surrounding area.
The subjects of the study are the first and second new-towns that are divided into periods, and the target period was set around 2010 when the second new-towns were formed.
Therefore, the origin-destination traffic data of the household traffic survey in the Seoul metropolitan area compiled in 2006 and 2016 were used for analysis.
