Abstract
This research uses feminist autobiographical methods (autoethnography, oral history, group storytelling) to explore humans’ affective ties with water, or hydrophilia, in New Jersey. We suggest that the experience of telling water stories with strangers cultivates a dialogic listening space for connective affects to circulate among participants, researchers included.
