Description:
The Household Water Insecurity Research Coordination Network (HWISE-RCN) presents studies that engage and develop the complex ways in which household water insecurity intersects with other human-environment processes and phenomena, such as: the COVID-19 pandemic, measurement and integration of qualitative and quantitative data, mobility and migration, climate change and health, other resource insecurities (food, energy, housing, etc.), trust in water providers and supplies, indigenous peoples and water insecurity, conflict and social mobilization, and household water insecurity in higher income countries. We promote a broad array of theoretical and methodological approaches, and with particular support of early career scholars with new or preliminary research using innovative perspectives. See hwise-rcn.org for more details.
