Abstract
This study considers the insurgent spatial praxis actualized by two Black women's organizations, namely "Coisa de Mulher" and "CRIOLA," with a focus on pedagogical, social, cultural, and political practices in their anti-racist and anti-sexist institutional projects. It envisions the understanding differently of spaces of learning and the socio-spatial, organizational, and mobilizing configurations of their geographies in “insurgent praxis.” This alternative educational proposal defines its scope as the domain of Latin American decolonial critique, situating the grammars of resistance and re-existence of these NGOs, headed by "organic intellectuals" who constitute a mandate in Brazil for combating racism and sexism. The initial hypotheses are that these projects reflect the philosophical ideologies of Black Geographies and Latin American Black Feminism and that their developments indicate alternatives to socio-political and educational actions of insufficiency that harm Black youth and women. The study began with qualitative research supported by semi-structured interviews defined as “Organic Narratives” to analyze the relationships of race, gender, and their intersectionality/relationalities, indispensable to the sociopolitical situation of barriers to discourse. The theoretical framework is based on perspectives from Black Geographies (GUIMARÃES, 2015, MCKITTRICK, 2006) and the decolonial legacy of Latin American Black Feminism (COLLINS, 2020, GONZALEZ, 1982) characterized by approaches favoring counter-narrative and rupture with established tradition. Such institutions present geographic and pedagogical concepts that inspire/promote learning arising from an ethno-centric posture conceived in social movements.
