Abstract
Although research suggests that urban neighbourhoods have a significant impact on health outcomes, the neighbourhood mental health link has not been thoroughly investigated. A scoping review was conducted to offer a current inventory of studies measuring the influence of the urban neighbourhood environment on mental health published since 2000, identify the methodologies used, and formulate field recommendations.
